Several years ago I found this copmpany that had a free serial data analyzer. I didn't get a cvhance to use it but I saved their execuitable. Recently I checked and found that the company is stil in busness (November 2024). Their various offering may be very useful in working with serial, and now other types of communications. On their web site the free version that I downloaded year sgo is no longer listed. Following this note is the opening screen from the older free version.
